Chinese Edition now available

2020-05-18 [Petri]

Late last year I got good news: the publishing rights of my book were sold to China, with the expected release early this year.

Unfortunately the coronavirus put a ton of sand in the cogs, and the publication date got delayed by a couple of months.

But finally “无线通信简史: 从无线电到5G” (A Brief History of Wireless Communications: From Electromagnetic Waves to 5G) has now been published by Turing Books, and is already available from bookstores like JD.com and DangDang.com.

Turing Books chose to follow the Finnish edition's example and added pictures to their version, which bring additional depth to the storyline.

The publisher also asked me to write a new preface for the Chinese readers: the version of it is available both in English and in Chinese in their respective blog entries.
